Well, guess it has been about a month since my last post. No, I didn't stop my blog or fall off the face of the earth. But I was on top of the earth if you want to say. I took some time off of work and writing to get married to the love of my life, then we both honeymooned in Hawaii. What an awesome place to go.
I'm back and trying to get back into the swing of things. I'll start back my sports writing in the next few days. It was kind of weird being in Hawaii (six hours behind my eastern time zone), and turning on tv at 7 am and seeing live baseball being played back on the mainland. It was nice being able to drink my coffee on the lanai with the ocean about 30 yards away, and having baseball on as my wife and I got ready for the day's activities in paradise on earth.
Braves have turned things around now and playing good baseball. And congrats to the Atlanta Hawks for making it to the second round of the NBA Playoffs. Good try, keep it up, and lets try for next year. And I'm so happy for the Falcons on picking up Alabama WR Julio Jones. Hopefully this will help complete the wide receiver core. Now lets get this lockout resolved.
