Not the way to go...

NY Jets CB Darrelle Revis

So it has recently come out that the Atlanta Falcons might be interested in NY Jets CB Darrelle Revis. The Jets are trying to put up a trade for Revis Island because they want to get younger and start fresh. But if the Falcons are looking to go the route of Revis, the team is going to have to swap a lot of draft picks and/or players as well to go along with this deal. Falcons CB Brent Grimes is coming off a franchise tag year where he sat on the bench and earned $10 million over last year while rehabbing an achilles heel injury. If it were me, do not trade for another injury prone corner. Revis injured his ACL last year, and he is going to draw way too much money. Even with his injury, Revis is still considered the best corner in the NFL. But reports are Grimes is looking good. I would take my chances and re up Grimes. He is younger and already on the team. With all the money the Falcons just freed up with the release of RB Turner, DE Abraham, and CB Robinson, sign the guys you need to sign in house first.

So Revis has already stated he would like to stay with the Jets, and so I hope he does.
