First Kennesaw State University Head Football Coach Brian Bohannon: Photo/KSU |
So the first of the hiring process has begun for the new upcoming Kennesaw State University football program. Yesterday the Owls hired their first ever coach, Brian Bohannon, an assistant from the Georgia Tech football program. He brings 17 years of football experience to Kennesaw State football. Bohannon has also coached at Gardner-Webb (NC), Georgia Southern, Navy, and then on to Georgia Tech. Bohannon is a graduate from the University of Georgia (1993), and former wide receiver on the Bulldogs football program. So Bohannon is quite familiar with legendary Georgia Coach Vince Dooley, who is now on the KSU Atheletic Board, and who is one of the highly respected people to bring the gridiron to the Owl Nation. Bohannon is a Georgia native from Griffin.
Bohannon will begin the hiring process of hiring his staff as soon as possible, with recruitment beginning in 2014, just in time for the start of the 2015 season. Here's to welcoming Brian Bohannon, the new Head Football Coach of the Kennesaw State Owls. Check back for more updates on this new and exciting time for Kennesaw State University.
