After an offseason of what ifs, and after the lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in the home wildcard playoff game, it's time to close that door and look forward to the 2013 season. Though only spring training, it's time to get it cranked up again. The Atlanta Braves host the Detroit Tigers in the home opener at 1pm today, starting pitcher Tim Hudson. This will be the first time that the revamped outfield plays together in an organized game. Justin Upton in left, older brother BJ in center, and manning the right corner Jason Heyward. It will also be the first time in 20 years that someone other than Chipper Jones will be at third base, the assignment for today will be for Juan Francisco. He will be platooning with Chris Johnson for that spot unless one of them just blows it up and earns the right to play everyday. It's their job to lose. Johnson came to Atlanta from the Arizona Diamondbacks in the trade that sent him and Justin Upton to Atlanta for platoon man Martin Prado. Lets get it started guys!!!
