According to the AP, yesterday, the NFL and their players had another secretive meeting in New York without the courts and without the lawyers. I know a lot of people have talked about this, as I have. But didn't I just talk about this yesterday. According to the AP, "The idea is simple: face-to-face negotiations are more likely to lead to a new collective bargaining agreement than court actions." I believe in the very end, once a new deal is reached, the NFL owners and NFLPA are going to look back and wish they had never got the courts involved. Moreover, all the money they have spent to have all the courts involved. The funny thing is, majority of this agreement is over money, and they are spending it just to figure out how to divide the 9 million dollars. In the end, I believe an agreement will be reached. Both sides really might not agree with the agreement, but they will be forced to live with it until it comes up again.
