So I'm reading different reports on what to do with the Atlanta Braves 25-man roster when C Brian McCann returns, more than likely for the Kansas City Royals home series next week. In my readings I see that no Brave has any options to be moved unless a trade is done or a release except for C Evan Gattis. And a release with no return is not going to happen. Catcher Gerald Laird is not a long term answer. He needs to be moved. Now C Evan Gattis can be moved to the minors until a trade is done, then bring him back. But hopefully that won't happen. If it does, hopefully not for long.
Gattis is the future in Atlanta. Brian McCann is still not going anywhere, but injures have set him down since 2011. In my opinion having McCann and Gattis behind the plate is a great one two punch, and both players are similar in built. Stay to turned for more updated throughout this exciting Braves season.
