Through the eyes of a child...

So as I sat and watched the Atlanta Falcons this past Sunday win their sixth straight to improve their NFL best record to 6-0, I looked down at my 9-month old daughter playing on her blanket on the floor, toys in hand, and just wondered to myself. Why all her smiles? So she's all dressed up as a little Falcon fan, not a care in the world, looking up at the man that feeds, clothes, changes diapers, and much, much, more for her. And looks at me with all smiles, and the amazement in her eyes, and probably wonders, why is this man so happy? Soon she will realize why. Soon mommy and daddy will raise her as a lady, but will still have it in her to catch the game. That's how my wife was raised, and so be it with our young daughter as well.

So at that particular moment I was wondering a baby at her age, without a care in the world, what was actually going through her mind. She is at an age now that she has, and knows, her comfort zone. She know that where she lays and sits on the floor is her spot, and she is comfortable. She knows when she is fussy and ready for a nap or bed, when myself or mommy places her in her crib, she quiets, and soon is asleep.
