So exit stage right and enter the biggest sports apparel industry of this new era. As posted in an earlier article, after 10 years, the NFL has jumped ship from Reebok, and climbed aboard the Nike train. A lot of the new Nike apparel, except for jerseys, have gone on sale today, with the unveiling of all 32 new Nike uniforms still set for tomorrow, April 3. All teams have been showing off the new Nike gloves and cleats that were actually worn at this past year's Pro Bowl. That was Nike's way of a teaser of things to come.
In my opinion, look for minor tweaks with all uniforms. It already has been stated from Seattle media that the Seattle Seahawks are undergoing major changes in their uniforms. Also, media outlets are already using the Carolina Panthers new logo and lettering. Carolina will probably have a new look for 2012. It's time for a change in Charlotte since the team has had the same look since their rookie season of 1995.

A lot of the teams will have the same classic look so to stay with tradition, albeit the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New York Giants. Another reason to think there will not be a lot of change is because the NFL is made up of a lot of conservative businessmen, where staying with tradition is what works, and that is best in their eyes. But with that being said, the fan base is getting younger and the need for change is labeled as "COOL." So stayed tuned...
