Falcons' version...

So you remember the Hollywood movie "Friday Night Lights" then the spinoff TV series "Friday Night Lights"? The Atlanta Falcons have their own version of "Friday Night Lights," which is being held at a local Atlanta area high school tonight. The Falcon organization likes to give back to the community, and also likes to remember going back to when it was 'just a game.' That's the reason why they do this every year, always one week after training camp begins, and one week out from the first preseason game.

One of the amazing parts of the entire night is the interaction the fans get to have with the players, seeing the enjoyment on all the kids faces as they get autographs from all the players they look up too, and want to be one day. Ever wonder what the coaches and players are saying to one another during a game? Tonight is a chance to hear. Players will be mic'd, including QB Matt Ryan and Head Coach Mike Smith.

I'm heading over there tonight with my wife to see how the team is faring. I'm so excited that football is back. Football is back in the air. Updates on the practice will be coming shortly.
