Friday...

If and when the labor deal is signed, sealed, and delivered to all teams on this Thursday in Atlanta, the players are definitely going to be able to report to their team headquarters the next day, Friday. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the meeting is going to be held at the Atlanta Airport Marriott. This is a quick approach to fly in and then out of Atlanta, and the NFL hopes to draw less attention from this. But as everyone knows, it won't. There will probably be media everywhere around the hotel to get the first scoop if the new CBA is a done deal.

On a side note, the Green Bay Packers are reportedly telling their players to get ready to show up to camp on this Saturday. But, according to NFL rules, teams are still prohibited from contacting players until an agreement is reached. Not sure how they are going about contacting the players, via maybe phone, text, or e-mail. Wonder if they think they have special privilege over all the other teams because they won last year's Super Bowl over the Pittsburgh Steelers. I really don't think that's the case, but just had to put it out there. More updates to come.
