Some owners are holding out...

Here we go again!!! Just as the lockout was looking like it could come to an end in the coming weeks, some owners, reportedly from the AFC, are pulling back. Apparently, the recent agreement that is being worked out and written up, have fallen out of favor with these owners. They believe it is still one sided and gives more in favor of the players. The apparent argument from these owners is what happens if the economy falls even worse in the red?

It was originally thought that the resistance of the new deal would come from the players, and not the owners. The majority of the owners are in agreement with the current deal with the players.  And some feel that if a new deal is not reached and signed by July 14, a full season will not be able to be played. This includes the entire training camp and preseason games. And lets not forget that free agency hasn't even happened yet. Nothing football related can happen between players and coaches. Contract deals between teams and players can't be worked out until a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is worked out. And I'm missing my NFL Replay on Sundays on NFL Network.

But most players for each team are taking upon themselves to gather and workout and run drills together, minus coaches. Hopefully, the players will stay at it and continue to run drills, and the majority of the owners will override the other owners and the deal will get done.
